Permanent, 8am-4.30pm Monday-Friday
Term time only 36 weeks per year (plus INSET & Open Mornings)
40 hours per week

We are seeking a highly organised and professional Secretary to provide administrative support to the Pre-Prep & Junior School. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality administrative support, act as a first point of contact for parents and visitors, and help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the school office.

Key Responsibilities

Provide efficient day-to-day administrative support to the Pre-Prep and Junior School office.
Act as a first point of contact for parents, pupils, staff, visitors and external enquiries.
Maintain accurate pupil records and support school registration processes.
Manage communications, including emails, telephone calls and face-to-face enquiries.
Assist with the organisation of school events, open mornings and other key activities.
Help ensure safeguarding and visitor procedures are followed at all times.

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to build positive relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
Discreet and trustworthy, with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Able to work independently, use initiative and remain calm under pressure.
Flexible, proactive and enthusiastic with a positive, ‘can-do’ approach.
